Our Pre-K Curriculum
A Child’s World Pre-K Program is for students who will be attending Kindergarten the next school year. The curriculum follows a Kindergarten Readiness program which includes the Nevada pre-kindergarten standards:
- Mathematics
- Science
- Language and Early Literacy
- Social Studies/Social Emotional
- Creative Expression
- Physical Development and Health
Meet the Teacher, Ayonie MacArthur
The teacher for the Pre-K program is Ayonie MacArthur, who has served children at A Child’s World for over 16 years. She has extraordinary success in her students mastering and exceeding the standards. Her preparation for this important position is a bachelor’s degree in Education, and a master’s degree in early childhood studies, with a specialization in teaching and diversity in early childhood education. Her finest quality is her passion and success in teaching young children.
